Finding foreign objects in food is a real problem. I totally agree with Emily that we need better quality control. It reminded me of a story that a friend once shared with me. She made me promise to never tell anyone about it, but she doesn't listen to this podcast and will never see this so it's probably fine. In high school, she was eating a granola bar in class and bit down on something hard. So she spit it out to check it out and see what it was, and it was AN ANIMAL TOOTH. It was in the middle of class so she just sneakily went over to the trash can and threw it away. I have since been perpetually haunted by this second hand experience.
Can't wait to hear about how the YSA camp weekend went. Please give an update.
Thank you for sharing advice on how to make friends, especially for those of us who really need it. :)
